FLEXIBLE PERSONAL DANCE PACKAGES for any dance on floor sharing basis else additional S$50 per lesson for private studio usage or other venues. Email to dance @ dancethrob.com your preferred dates & time slots:
* Flexible Personal Packages for minimum 1 OR maximum 2 participants @S$120/45 minutes or S$400/4 x 45 minutes= 3 hours or S$600/8 x 45 minutes= 6 hours. For special wedding choreography or privacy preference for relationship building & fitness fun or just learn alone.
* Flexible Semi-Personal Packages: S$25-55/pax/hour dependent on 3/4/5/6/>7 participants & 1/4/8 hours packages, not open to the public. |

* Mon 27 Feb 7pm Tango like Stars! Partner Basic. Includes Argentine, International & American Smooth Tango. Multi-national participants, Gals & Guys Wanted!
* Mon 27 Feb 8pm Solo Latin Dance Basic. Strictly solo with no partnership learning solo Rumba. Only Gals Wanted!
* Mon 27 Feb 9pm Waltz like Stars! Partner Basic. Includes Social Waltz, American Smooth Waltz, International Slow Waltz, International Viennese Waltz & American Smooth Viennese Waltz. Gals & Guys Wanted!
* Tue 13 Mar 8pm Merengue & Samba Partner Basic Advance payment required.
* Tue 13 Mar 9pm Foxtrot like Stars! Partner Basic. Includes Rhythm, American Smooth Foxtrot, International Slow Foxtrot & Quickstep. Favourite songs & dances of wedding couples. Advance payment required.
* Thu 23 Feb 8pm Social Club Dances Partner Basic. Includes minimum 3 of the following dances: Foxtrot, Disco Rock, Social Waltz, Street Cha Cha Cha, Salsa, Hustle, Bachata, Two-Step, Square Rumba, Argentine Tango, Rock & Roll & Merengue. Multi-national couples, only Couples Wanted dance together throughout!
* Thu 8 Mar 9pm Jiving like Stars! Partner Basic. Includes Rock n Roll Le Rock/ Modern Jive, Disco Rock & Jive. Advance payment required.
* Sat 10 Mar 3:30pm Bachata & Latin Rumba Partner Basic. Rumba is a universal love dance! Advance payment required.
* Sat 3 Mar 4:30pm Social Club Dances Partner Basic. CHILDREN, KIDS & TEENS FIXED BASIC DANCE COURSE SCHEDULE, consecutive weekly same day & time @S$195 per child per 8 sessions of 45 minutes PER course. Email beforehand for trial class @$25 each. AVAILABLE start dates as follows:
* Sat 25 Feb 4pm PreSchool Ballroom Dance. Solo &/or partnership learning all 10 Street, Club, Social Standard Ballroom dances in rotation every 8 lessons. 6-14 years wanted!
* Sun 26 Feb 2:30pm Teenagers Solo Latin Dance. Strictly solo with no partnership learning solo Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba & Jive in rotation every 8 lessons. 10-19 years wanted!
^ Absolute newbies start with ANY Basic courses, no dance experience needed.
^ Discounts for Fixed Weekly Group Course Fee minimum 7 days advance payment: $25 off for ALL full-time students, NSFs, Seniors over 50 & SDN/SMA/SYC with proof. NO discount for payment made less than 7 days before event.

Scored 4 champions out of 5 dances by RpMerleon students- Sunday 27 November, 2011

A resounding win by the dark horses of DanceThrob/RpMerleon Studios, sweeping up 4 champions plus a 2nd in Beginner Standard competitions. Naoki and Irene surprised many people and especially themselves on 27 Nov 2011, where an international dancesport competition was held.
What shocked many was that they were originally supposed to only take part in Pre-Beginner Standard, but 3 days ago they were told to 'upgrade' to Beginner Standard (the next higher level) for more competitors there. There was no time to adjust routines and they had no choice but to dance purely Pre-Beginner variations that consisted of Pre-Bronze Medallist steps, against others that had flexibility to utilise the full range of Beginner Silver Medallist steps & the advantage of more competitive experiences compared to their single competition 2.5 months ago.
Fortunately their good basic foundation, built over months from drilling at DanceThrob/RpMerleon Studios carried them to victory. Most of the drilling came from their group Standard Technique classes held every Saturday afternoon. There we focused on quality dancing through exercises and fundamentals. |

It was with great sadness that we know of your passing away on 11th March 2010. We salute you, we loved you, we adored you, we cried for you and we mourned for you.
For those who did not know who Keith was, he was a very accomplished dancer way before I was born and was already a finalist in the World Professional Ballroom Competitions. He was highly respected all over the world as a dancer and a teacher. And it was Singapore's good fortune that he decided to do much of his dance teaching in Singapore, later on in his dance career.
As I tried to control my tears when our beloved Julie Shen told us the news of your passing, the image that flashed across my mind was of you visited our newly set up dance studio in The Adelphi a couple of years ago. You proudly sat there at the same bench and looked at our brand new studio with pride shinning in your eyes of what your former students managed to achieve. Busy with teaching & adjudicating these few years, your passing compelled me to pick up my writing skills once again in order to give you a tribute from the bottom of my heart. Perhaps that's the only way I know of to deal with my grief.
Local trainers that I learnt from when I first started competing can be easily summed up with my fingers on a single palm, with the last one only 3 months. Keith, you were my first long term World-ranked foreign Professional Dance Coach & the only one in Singapore who taught with your heart, the proper Standard Dance techniques with no withholding of critical knowledge, the first to believe that we can be champions and the only one that taught me how to be an excellent dance coach when I first started giving dance lessons more than a decade ago. I was not kidding when I stressed that my knowledge on dance techniques were all learnt from World-ranked Professionals & you, Keith, was one of them & the first. |
